Articles land up on female because most men wont face illness and its left
to the women in their lives to push them towards the doctors "Derek F" news:befavt$4inc9$1@ID-107529.news.dfncis.de... > Most of the Mails health stories go directly on to their web site but this > one didn't but is there tonight. > page_id=173 > It's strange that all the male health stories end up in 'female' Are the > ladies supposed to keep an eye on our health? I once told a doctor that my wife had accompanied me to make sure that I
told the truth and did not gloss over my symptoms. Sometime a woman's insistence of us guys going to the doctor can have dire results. In February I had a fall and thought that I had broken two ribs. Having had broken ribs before I knew that they are just left to heal provided that you are not coughing up blood. After three weeks they were still painful and my wife insisted that I go to the doctor. I walked, taking a short cut through the park on a nice March morning. Unfortunately there had been a lot of rain during the night and the well trodden unofficial path was muddy so I stepped of it onto the grass which turned out to be more dangerous and I fell side ways. An excruciating pain went through my ribs but my shoulder took the brunt of the damage. I was on my back, covered in mud and I had several more falls as it took several attempts to get up as my feet kept slipping away from me. My ribs are better now but my shoulder is still troubling me..........whose fault was it? Derek.
