"To be honest, I think they just wanted somebody to lock up," Virginia Shelton said. "I couldn't believe the way detectives work. Our justice system is no good. We have a Constitution, and they don't follow it." Klueless Keystone Kops who can't be bothered to check and see if two clocks are even close to each other, never mind in sync, and make arrests just to be seen doing something. "Starkey and the Sheltons said they received no apologies after the charges were dropped, and Virginia Shelton and Starkey said authorities did not help pay for their trip home to Arizona. The Shelton and Starkey families said they are considering a lawsuit against those responsible for the mistaken arrests." One could hope that the detectives, cops, and others involved in this fiasco get bent over and reamed, but in reality the only people that will be reamed are the taxpayers. Is it any wonder why police aren't exactly considered trustworthy? Lovell, more impatient, cried-- > Lance Heflin, a top > producer at "America's Most Wanted," urged her to consider > the positive side of her ordeal, saying "had you never been > identified, you would still be suspected, ..... > If they were never identified, how the hell could they be > suspects? He didn't say there were never identified. Try reading what he actually said.

None of the dozens of assholes who committed this >travesty against them will be punished. You are such an idiot. Can _America's Most Wanted_ be sued for defamation? After that stupid letter by Lance Heflin, I'd love to see him, Walsh and FOX taken down about twenty pegs.
