For years 'they' have said "You can't smoke a medicine"
But here we are --- You can smoke a medicine! ---------------------------------------------- "Smokable" pain drugs promise faster action BOSTON (Reuters) - All self-respecting painkillers these days offer "fast-acting relief," a promise we accept to mean anywhere from 15 minutes to more than an hour. The Palo Alto, California-based company is developing drugs that can be "smoked," and, like nicotine in cigarettes, pass through the lungs and into the bloodstream almost instantly. "Sla#s" > For years 'they' have said "You can't smoke a medicine" > > But here we are --- You can smoke a medicine! > ---------------------------------------------- I only wish the kinds of migraines I suffer with were ameliorated by smoking my favourite herb. I only tried it once and it was quick - but horrid. Figuring I needed a vaso-constrictor, I even tried smoking tobacco - which didn't work. I can't see myself going down the route of smoking opium ....
